The Draft Debt Recovery Policy establishes a fair, transparent and consistent approach to recovering outstanding debts owed to Council.

The policy applies to the recovery of: general rates and annual charges; water usage and sewerage charges and; sundry debtor invoices. It does not apply to fines or penalties issued under State legislation, e.g. parking fines, which are administered via Revenue NSW.
